Revolutionizing B2B Banking: The Jysan Bank Project

Gayane Belonovich's Award-Winning Interface Design for Jysan Bank

The project, which began in February 2020 and launched in December of the same year, was based in Almaty. The design team, including illustrator Moldir Zhannatova and developers from STRONG, focused on creating a clean and simple web and app interface for CEOs and accountants. The interface boasts unique features such as account statement auto-export, easy statement control, and automated validation of foreign payments.

Belonovich's design was heavily research-oriented, with a focus on stakeholder interviews, competitor analysis, and focus groups. The team used a variety of tools, including Confluence, Jira, Miro, and Google Sheets, to gather data and develop the design. Over 2000 pages were created for iOS, Android, and web platforms, with the number of pages still increasing.

The design process faced several challenges, particularly in designing foreign payments. However, through collaboration with the FX transactions department and the Currency control of the bank, the team was able to optimize the process and reduce the number of required fields in payment forms. This not only simplified the form for customers but also eased the workload of the bank's back office.

The design's unique properties and innovative approach have not gone unnoticed. The Jysan Bank project was awarded Silver in A' Interface, Interaction and User Experience Design Award in 2021, a testament to its outstanding expertise and innovation.
